How it works
Three steps, no jargon.
The whole point is to be the boring, reliable plumbing between empty trucks and waiting loads. Designed around how dispatchers and drivers actually think.
01 · Post
"I’m heading back empty"
Carrier taps Go Lazi when a truck is heading home empty. Or a shipper posts a load with weight, equipment, route.
02 · Match
See compatible loads on a map
Equipment-aware filtering picks the matches that actually fit. No browsing 80% of loads that need a low-loader.
03 · Move
Accept, deliver, get paid
One tap to accept. Both parties confirm delivery. The carrier is paid 48 hours later, NZD direct to their bank.
See it match
Pick your truck. Watch the loads that fit.
Generic load boards show you everything. Lazi runs real equipment compatibility, so you only see the loads your gear can actually carry. Try it.

The network
It's already moving.
Every day, trucks run home empty across the country while loads wait nearby. Lazi turns those crossings into paid backloads, densest where the network is densest, growing region by region through operators who already trust each other.

Both parties confirm → instant settlement
The shipper's card was pre-authorised on accept.
The moment delivery is confirmed by both parties, Stripe captures the charge + transfers your share to your Stripe Connect account. From there it lands in your bank in ~48 hours.
Example only · processing fees subject to change
Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 NZD card-processing fee is approximate and may vary by card type, currency conversion, or Stripe pricing updates. Lazi's 5% shipper service fee + 3% carrier payout fee are current as of launch; in-app numbers recompute live per match and supersede any figure shown here.

FAQ
Common questions, plain answers.
- What does Lazi cost?
- Free to join. Fees apply only on completed matches: a 5% shipper fee on top of the load price, and a 3% payout fee from the carrier’s gross. Standard payment-processing fees apply on top. No subscriptions, no listing fees.
- Who is Lazi for?
- NZ heavy-transport operators: civil contractors, tipper fleets, low-loader carriers, crane truck operators, and engineering workshops shipping fabricated goods. Built around the kind of equipment compatibility that generic load boards ignore.
- How does the backload matching work?
- Carriers post when a truck is heading home empty ("Going Lazi"). Shippers post a load. The platform shows compatible matches based on equipment, route, and timing. Either side can accept; one tap settles payment on delivery.
- Is my fleet data private?
- Yes. Truck locations are visible only to your org members and accepted-partner orgs on selected posts. Driver licences are restricted to admin and dispatcher roles. Per-partner rate cards stay between you and that partner. See /privacy-control for the full breakdown.
- How long until I get paid?
- Carriers receive payouts to their NZ bank account 48 hours after both parties confirm delivery. You enter your bank account once at setup; payouts land automatically, no invoicing or chasing.
- Where does Lazi operate?
- NZ-wide. Lazi works anywhere in New Zealand, and the trusted-network density grows region by region as more operators join.
